Vineyard tour and wine tasting

My husband had brought the vineyard tour with wine tasting for a belated birthday treat. I had no idea where we were going but when we arrived I was very pleased with his choice.
We arrived at Deer Park Wines on Sunday morning and although arrived a little early for the tour, Mark was very accommodating and met us promptly after.
We went on a vineyard tour looking at the different variety and stages of the vines, Mark was very knowledgeable and told us many fascinating facts about growing grapes on the foot of the Breden Hills.
We also stopped so Mark could feed the deer in the deer park on site which added to the experience.
After the tour, as there were only 2 of us we were welcomed into his beautiful home where we tried 3 delicious white wines; Bacchus, Solaris & a special reserve, we also tried the rose cuvee. Mark explained the different variety’s well and what notes we should expect to taste.
All 3 still wines and the fizz are award winning and I can see why…
All in all it’s was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and would recommend to anyone.
We are already thinking of returning in the summer to try some other wines they have to offer.

Award winning wines and very enjoyable tour and tasting

What a great way to spend a few hours! We booked a vineyard tour, wine tasting and charcuterie for a group of friends as a birthday treat. Mark, his wife and other team members gave us a warm welcome, an informative visit around the vines and a delicious wine tasting. We are now seeing English wines in a much more positive light - and came away happily clutching a few cases of our favourites to enjoy at home. The setting is gorgeous too - well kept grounds in a beautiful area with an adjacent deer park. Thoroughly recommended and we’ll definitely be returning soon.

Fantastic Tour with great passion, fab wines, amazing location - A definite Must Do (and again and again)!!

We are local and wanted to treat our overseas visitors to something different and we were not disappointed. What a fab place!! Booking was straight forward and simple to navigate, tour options were perfectly described, travel directions were clear and easy to follow. They even had 4x4 buggies, so not a problem for the less mobile, and the ground is ok for most footwear and abilities. All the facilities were excellent, well appointed and well laid out.
A beautiful setting in an amazing location and fabulous views across to the Malvern Hills.
A really warm, friendly and personal welcome by the owner (s), was followed up by one of the most informative, practical, well curated and delivered tours and wine making talks we have ever had the pleasure to participate in - Excellent does not cover it. The pitch of the information was perfect for all knowledge levels - so don't worry if you know nothing or everything you will take something away.
The wine itself is fantastic, with award winners and new varieties coming alone the whole time. Well priced with a good mix of flavours and food accompaniments. Who knew English wine could be like this.
This needs to be on your to do list (and on your repeat list too!!). I cant believe we hadn't found it earlier and would encourage anyone and everyone to go. Congratulations to them for a job well done. They are a wedding and hosting venue too so will be adding it to our resource list.
Sorry to have sound a bit PR-y and gushy but we were really impressed by the whole experience and that's rare to find and needs to be celebrated when you do.

Most enjoyable vineyard tour and tasting

Thoroughly recommend a tour at Deer Park Wines. During our tour of the vineyard, we learnt so much about growing and maintaining vines, and the impact of weather and the local environment. So interesting! We enjoyed sampling three whites wines and a sparkling rose - all fantastic - along with a beautiful selection of meats, cheeses and bread. Mark was an excellent host, so knowledgeable and passionate around the subject of wine. We throughly enjoyed our visit, and we are hoping to visit again in the Summer.
